3 Galentine’s Day Cocktails To Add Sparkle To Your Celebration
What better way to celebrate the bonds of sisterhood than with a well-crafted cocktail in hand?
Galentine’s Day offers the perfect excuse to shake up some delicious drinks and share a toast to the incredible women in your life. From fruity concoctions to fun shots, there is a Galentine’s Day cocktail for every taste and preference.
Bestie Blackberry Lemonade (Makes 1 Serving)
½ cup Blackberries
2 or 3 mint leaves
1 tsp Simple Syrup
1 ½ ounce Ciroc Vodka
½ ounce fresh Lemon Juice
Garnish: Blackberries and a Sprig of Rosemary
In a cocktail shaker muddle your blackberries, simple syrup, and two mint leaves until you can smell the mint. Next, add your vodka, and lemon juice then shake until well blended. Finally, pour into a Collins glass with ice and slide in the sprig of Rosemary, a blackberry, and optional mint leaf. (You can multiply this recipe depending on how many friends are with you)
Green Tea Shots (Makes 2 Servings)
1 ounce Jameson Irish Whiskey
1 ounce Peach Schnapps
1 ounce Sour Mix
Splash of Sprite
Add Jameson, Peach Schnapps, and sour mix into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well to blend ingredients. Next, pour the ingredients from the shaker into two shot glasses filling ¾ full. Finally, top off with a splash of sprite into each shot glass. Cheers!
Strawberry Margaritas (Makes 4 Servings)
Start by making the homemade strawberry puree with 10-12 ounces of frozen strawberries thawed. Puree in a blender and set aside.
8 ounces Don Julio Silver Tequila
4 ounces Cointreau
4 ounces fresh Lime Juice
2 ounces of Simple Syrup
8 ounces of Strawberry Puree
Garnish: Strawberries, Sea Salt for rim.
Begin by rubbing a lime wedge around ½ of the Margarita glasses and dip into sea salt. Next, add ice to glasses. In a cocktail shaker with ice add Tequila, Cointreau, Lime Juice, Simple Syrup, and 8 ounces of Strawberry Puree. Shake well and strain into the glasses. Garnish with a lime wedge and strawberries.
