Change of Seasons Change of Cocktails

Once the weather starts to cool down I like to change up my drinks. Away with the refreshing fun and fruity. In with the invitingly spicy fall flavors. I am always looking for easy fall cocktails.

I always like to have new recipes ready for parties and events. Here are a few of my favorites.

Sangria: What an Easy Fall Cocktail

Sangria is always a hit, no matter the season and very easy to make. With a few subtle changes to the summer sangria you have been enjoying, you can tailor your Sangria to the fall tastes.

Apple Cider Sangria

  • 1 Bottle Pino Grigio
  • 2 ½ cups Fresh Apple Cider
  • ½ cup Ginger Brandy
  • 1 cup Club Soda
  • 3 Apples (chopped small)
  • 3 Pears (chopped small)
  • Dash of cinnamon

Mix all ingredients together and chill before serving.

Smooth Bourbon is a Fall Favorite

One thing I enjoy about bourbon is the warm smooth taste as it goes down. It is especially nice in the fall and winter.

This recipe combines a mellow bourbon with pure maple syrup for a beautiful combination that is definitely pleasing to the palate.

Maple Old Fashioned

Mix ingredients until syrup is fully dissolved. Add 1 large cube of ice and orange peel to garnish.

Martini with olive

Martini No Vermouth

I have never been a fan of the Dirty Martini. Probably because I don’t like Vermouth or olives!

I prefer my Martini’s sweet and this recipe is just that! The bonus for this one is caramel is one of my personal favorite sweet indulgences.

Caramel Apple Martini

Rim your martini glass with Carmel (set aside). Combine Salted Carmel vodka, Vanilla vodka,  apple cider, and apple schnapps in a shaker with ice. Pour mixture into prepared glass. Garnish with an apple slice.
