Now, picture that drink being a RumHaven Limeade Cocktail– the perfect blend of coconut-infused rum and zesty lime.

Balancing Flavors For Cocktail Perfection

I am always looking for delicious easy-to-make cocktails that aren’t too sweet or too tart.

When my friend Kristie made this drink for me I was so excited because it ticked all the boxes and was so light and refreshing. 

I immediately started imagining that I was making a big batch and sharing it with our other friends.

What Is RumHaven You Ask?

Since I never heard of this unusual spirit, I decided to check it out and was so pleasantly surprised at the ingredients in the bottle.

Blending Caribbean Rum with coconut water and pure cane sugar turns this spirit into a 42-proof liqueur.

Why It Works

Since RumHaven is made with coconut water rather than heavy coconut cream (like a Piña Colada), it has a very distinct, light, and clean taste.

I find that the natural hydration and subtler sweetness of coconut water in RumHaven perfectly cut the sharp tartness of the limeade.

Below is the recipe for a large batch of this delicious concoction. Are you looking for a single glass or two? Just mix equal parts of RumHaven and limeade over ice!

RumHaven Limeade Cocktail

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups RumHaven
  • 4 cups Simply Limeade
  • 6 Fresh Strawberries (sliced)

Instructions
 

  • In a 2 liter container mix 4 cups RumHaven and 4 cups Simply Limeade.
  • Slice 6-8 strawberries and place most of them into the container.
  • Shake container well.
  • Chill for 2 hours or more (If you don’t have time to chill you can place ingredients into a shaker to chill quickly).
  • When serving fill your 16 oz glass

     with ice then place a slice of strawberry on the rim and pour in your mixture.

Notes

For a single serving, just use 3 ounces of RumHaven and 3 ounces of Simply Limeade in a glass filled with ice. Add a few slices of strawberries and stir. Garnish with an additional slice of strawberry.

To enhance the summer vibe of our RumHaven Limeade Cocktail, consider adding a sweet twist with a strawberry garnish. For me, it took this recipe to the next level. Put a few strawberry slices into the glass and add an extra slice on the rim.

The strawberry’s vibrant red color and sweet flavor pair perfectly with the coconut rum and zesty lime, creating a delightful combination that will take your taste buds on a journey to paradise.
