Those who know me well, know I love Pink. Pink to wear, Pink the Artist, and especially pink things to drink. This is how I found Sweet Revenge Punch.
Being the social person that I am, I talk to everyone! At our temporary home, I speak with the guests and employees all the time.
The staff goes over and above to make us feel welcome and I am getting to know some of them very well. One particular lovely person named Colleen was telling me about a cocktail she loves called the Sweet Revenge Punch.
This smoothly intense punch sounded like a wonderful drink for my Galentine’s Day Blog so I asked her if she would share her recipe. She was happy to comply.
Is Galentine’s Day For Real?
Why yes, Galentine’s Day is real! According to Merriam-Webster Dictionary, Galentine’s Day is on February 13th and it is a day to celebrate friendships, especially among women.
Did you ever watch Parks and Rec? Do you remember Leslie Knope? She actually invented Galentine’s Day as a way to celebrate her female friendships back in 2010 in the second season of that series.
What is Sweet Revenge Liqueur
This Wild Strawberry Sour Mash Whiskey Liqueur is made with a combination of whiskey and other natural flavors including wild strawberry and other citrus fruits. I am always curious about different spirits and so I had to check it out.
This Liqueur blends their ingredients together to get a delightfully sweet flavor to start with but then a good bold kick in the taste buds for the finish. It is 77 proof so don’t be fooled by that sweet rosy pink color.

What actually is Mash and What is Sour Mash?
First, Let’s Talk About Mash
Mash, simply put in the distilling industry is grain, water, and yeast that gets fermented and produces alcohol.
What Do You Know About Sour Mash?
Sour Mash is where a portion of the previous batch gets saved and put into the new batch. It helps to maintain proper PH levels and keeps the consistency of taste from batch to batch.
Here’s a big surprise. Sour Mash doesn’t mean that your drink will be sour. It just refers to the process above where you save some of the previous batch to help make the next batch.
That blew me away because I always thought sour mash would be sour.

Colleen shared two recipes with me. One for an individual cocktail, and one for a large batch to share. I find it nice to try a cocktail before mixing up a whole batch. Once sampled, you will surely want to mix up a batch for your Galentine’s Day festivities.
Sweet Revenge Punch for One
Sweet Revenge Punch (For One)
Equipment
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 oz Sweet Revenge Liqueur
- 1 1/2 oz Malibu Strawberry Rum
- 6 oz Lemonade
- 2 oz Sprite or 7-Up
- 1 splash Grenadine
Instructions
- Put ice in your Collins glass
- Add Sweet Revenge Liqueur, Malibu Strawberry Rum, lemonade, Sprite and grenadine
- Stir and serve
- Optional: If you don't want to use Sprite you can just add 2 extra ounces of lemonade
Sweet Revenge Punch Social (for groups)
I must tell you that Colleen makes a 5-gallon batch of this (the above recipe is a 1-gallon batch) and it gets drank happily. It attests to the tastiness of this cocktail.
Sweet Revenge Punch
Equipment
Ingredients
- 750 ml Sweet Revenge Liqueur Whole bottle
- 750 ml Malibu Strawberry Rum Whole bottle
- 64 oz Lemonade
- 12 oz Sprite or 7 Up (optional for fizz)
- 6 oz Grenadine
- 1 cup Strawberries sliced
- 1/2 cup Kiwi sliced
- 1 whole Lemon Sliced for garnish
Instructions
- In a 1 gallon drink dispenser mix your Sweet Revenge Liqueur, Malibu Strawberry Rum, Lemonade, and Grenadine.
- Shake or stir well
- Add fruit and chill for a minimum of 2 hours
- Put ice in your 12 oz glass
- Pour in 6 oz of recipe
- Top off with 1 oz of (OPTIONAL) Sprite
- Garnish with a lemon slice
