Cranberry Lemon Drop
This twist on a Lemon Drop Martini is tart, refreshing and just fancy-looking enough that you look like a pro.

1 Martini Glass
Cranberry Simple Syrup Ingredients
- 2 cups Cranberries Fresh, chopped
- 1.5 cups water
- 1 cup Granulated Sugar
Single Cocktail Ingredients
- 2 oz Vodka
- 1 oz Lemon Juice Fresh is best!
- 1 oz 100% Cranberry Juice unsweetened
- 1/2 oz Cranberry Simple Syrup From above
- 1 Tbsp Sugar For rim
- 1 slice Lemon For rim

Cranberry Simple Syrup Instructions
Chop your fresh cranberries and place them in a medium saucepan with water.
Cook them on a low simmer for about 20 minutes then let them cool for a few minutes.
Mash the cranberries and strain them through a fine strainer.
Measure to make sure you have 1 cup of cranberries and liquid (add more water if necessary) after straining.
Put juice back in the saucepan, add 1 cup of sugar, and stir.
Heat to a slight boil, then remove from the heat and set aside to cool.
Cocktail Instructions
Pour your vodka, cranberry simple syrup (from recipe above), cranberry juice, and lemon juice into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
Shake well
Pour into your Martini glass with (or without a sugar rim) and garnish with a slice of lemon.
