Equipment

  • 1 Cocktail Shaker
  • 1 Margarita Glass

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 oz 1800 Reposado Tequila Or other Premium Reposado Tequila
  • 1 oz Grand Marnier
  • 1 1/2 oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • 1/2 oz Simple Syrup or Agave Nectar
  • 1 each Lime Wedge
  • 1 tsp Margarita Salt

Optional

  • 2 1/2 oz Margarita Mix Instead of lime juice and simple syrup

Instructions
 

  • Optional: Rim your glass with lime juice and dip into salt then set aside
  • In a cocktail shaker with ice add all ingredients except 1/2 oz Grand Marnier
  • Shake well and strain into prepared Margarita glass with fresh ice
  • Drizzle the remaining 1/2 oz of Grand Marnier over top
  • Garnish with a wedge of lime

Notes

Make sure not to use both lime juice-simple syrup and Margarita mix. Pick one!
