Amaretto Sour Cocktail

This foamy cocktail is sweet and sour. It has a lovely almond flavor, plus a citrus punch for a bit of a sour taste.

Equipment

  • 1 Cocktail Shaker
  • 1 Old Fashioned Whiskey Glasses

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 oz Amaretto Disaronno
  • 1 oz Bourbon
  • 1 oz Lemon Juice
  • 1 tsp Simple Syrup
  • 1/2 oz Egg White Approx. 1 egg
  • 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
  • 1 slice Orange For Garnish
  • 1 each Cherry For Garnish

Instructions
 

  • Pour Amaretto, Bourbon, lemon juice and simple syrup into a cocktail shaker with ice (Reverse dry Shake).
  • Shake the mixture to chill and then remove the ice from the shaker.
  • Add egg whites and shake vigorously for 30 seconds.
  • Strain into Old Fashioned Whiskey Glasses
  • Garnish with Orange slice, cherry or both.
