Bourbon Lemonade Cocktails Are So Delicious

Bourbon and Lemonade Cocktails are an enjoyable deviation from normal Bourbon drinks. Recently I was able to try a new Bourbon Barrel Lemonade Cocktail in a can and I must share my thoughts.

Usually, can cocktails don’t do all that much for me. I have a few that I kind of like but so many I try just don’t have that delicious real cocktail flavor plus they are too sugary.

Recently a friend suggested my husband and I try a new cocktail in a can called ‘RobbieDan’s Bourbon Barrel Lemonade’. Why, of course, I love to do taste testing. So I started to check it out.

It has been told that one day Dan and Robbie were wondering why there are no ready-to-drink Bourbon beverages available on the market.

Now Bobby Cordisco, a Liquour guru who has been in the beverage industry for many years and father to Robbie and father in law to Dan, saw an opportunity! They decided to start mixing up a Bourbon and Lemonade recipe and turn it into a business. 

This ‘cocktail in a can’ basically has 4 ingredients: freshly squeezed lemons, barrel-aged Bourbon, reverse osmosis spring water, and a touch of pure cane sugar. 

This seems like the closest you can get to a healthy cocktail in a can.

Dan and Robbie say this is where Bourbon Whiskey and Lemonade Collide. “ Let’s Rip It Up And Go For A Ride!” I thought to myself, I’m more than ready!

Let’s Sample This Easy Bourbon Barrel Lemonade Cocktail

My husband and I sampled RobbieDan’s Bourbon Barrel Lemonade one night and before trying it, my husband seemed skeptical but willing to sample this boozy concoction with me.

The first thing I noticed is the light refreshing flavor.

I expected the Bourbon to be a forward taste, but that wasn’t so. It was not strong or sugary tasting either. Just delicious with a little kick! I particularly liked the homemade lemonade taste.

My husband’s first comment was “This can get us really messed up on the boat this summer, I like it!”Actually, why wait until summer? Let’s share it with our friends by the campfire soon.

I had to agree. We were both really surprised that the flavors seemed authentic and not too sweet. 

When Will This Delicious Whiskey Lemonade Come To Michigan?

After quickly devouring our 4 pack of this Cocktail in a Can we are wondering when we will start seeing it on the shelves once we get back home to Michigan. Dan, Robbie?

I went online to see if I could purchase some more but it is sold out. As for Michigan, it is not available there yet either. I can’t even find when it will be available in Michigan but we will cross our fingers. 

This Connecticut-based cocktail needs to branch out soon so the entire United States can enjoy it as we do. (The sooner the better, boating season will be here before we know it)
