Once the weather starts to cool down I like to change up my drinks. Away with the refreshing fun and fruity. In with the invitingly spicy fall flavors. I am always looking for easy fall cocktails.
I always like to have new recipes ready for parties and events. Here are a few of my favorites.

Sangria: What an Easy Fall Cocktail
Sangria is always a hit, no matter the season and very easy to make. With a few subtle changes to the summer sangria you have been enjoying, you can tailor your Sangria to the fall tastes.
Apple Cider Sangria
Apple Cider Sangria
Equipment
- 6 Stemless Wine Glass
Ingredients
- 1 Bottle Pinot Grigio
- 2 1/2 Cups Apple Cider Fresh Cider is best
- 1/2 Cups Ginger Brandy
- 1 Cup Club Soda
- 3 whole Apples Chopped into small cubes
- 3 whole Pears Chopped into small cubes
- 2 dashes Cinnamon
Instructions
- Start by chopping up all your fruit and put it into 1 gallon jug
- Pour Wine, Apple Cider, Ginger Brandy, and Club Soda into jug and stir.
- Put a dash of cinnamon into jug
- Chill for a minimum of 2 hours
- Serve in stemless wine glass
Smooth Bourbon is a Fall Favorite
One thing I enjoy about bourbon is the warm smooth taste as it goes down. It is especially nice in the fall and winter.
This recipe combines a mellow bourbon with pure maple syrup for a beautiful combination that is definitely pleasing to the palate.
Maple Old Fashioned

Equipment
- 1 11 oz Rocks Glass
Ingredients
- 2 oz Basil Hayden Bourbon Or other Premium Bourbon
- 1 tsp Maple Syrup Pure Maple Syrup
- 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
- 1 tsp Water
- 1 slice Orange Peel For Garnish
- 1 each Large Ice Cube
Instructions
- In an 11 oz Rocks Glass add Bourbon, Maple Syrup, Angostura Bitters, and water
- Stir until fully dissolved
- Add 1 Large Ice Cube
- Garnish with an orange peel
Martini No Vermouth
I have never been a fan of the Dirty Martini. Probably because I don’t like Vermouth or olives!
I prefer my Martini’s sweet and this recipe is just that! The bonus for this one is caramel is one of my personal favorite sweet indulgences.
Caramel Apple Martini

Equipment
Ingredients
- 1 oz Stoli Salted Caramel Vodka
- 1 oz Smirnoff Vanilla Vodka
- 2 oz Apple Cider Fresh is best
- 1 oz Dekuyper Sour Apple Schnapps
- 1 Tbsp Caramel Syrup
- 1 slice Apple For garnish
Instructions
- Rim your Martini glass with Caramel and set aside
- Combine Salted Caramel Vodka, Vanilla Vodka, apple cider, and Apple Schnapps in a cocktail shaker with ice
- Shake well to chill
- Pour mixture into prepared glass
- Garnish with apple slice
